Unearth is informed by the mutability of the natural world. For her second solo exhibition with bitforms gallery, artist Sara Ludy applies attributes distinctive of her digital practice to sculpture. Transparent, enmeshed forms made of Waken Glass transition elements of the artist’s visual language into three dimensions. 

Sara Ludy uses the unique nature of the new medium of Waken Glass to explore real and virtual ornithological elements, expressed in sculptures such as Nest, Trough, and Perch.

Unearth is created in collaboration with Upterior. All sculptures in the exhibition were created by Sara Ludy using patent-pending technology behind Waken Glass from Upterior.

The vernissage takes place on Thursday March 28, 2019, 6 – 8 PM.
